Dr. Berry completed his Ph.D. in Applied Bioanalytical Chemistry from the University of Washington, where his research focused on developing microfluidic platforms to study cell signaling in pulmonary and other environments, as well as fundamental fluid dynamics and infectious disease immunology models. Dr. Berry continued working in infectious disease immunology as a Postdoctoral Fellow at University of California, Berkeley, where we worked on vaccine development and molecular resistance in tuberculosis. In parallel, Dr. Berry was a Venture Analyst at the Washington Research Foundation/WRF Capital, where he evaluated grant and investment applications within Washington state, and a Nucleate Bio/UC Berkeley LSEC Venture Fellow, where he worked with entrepreneurs and trainees at UC Berkeley to translate their technologies out of research labs.
